SHIPPING POLICY
 

on-sale item-on-sale items are not qualify for free return, and there will be 10% restock fee to return on-sale or final sale item.  The return policy & shipping policy wont cover any on-sale or final sale item, if your order is "on-sale" order or final sale order, we won't have free return for your order.  If you have issues with your "on-sale" item, please send us email, our customer service team will respond your email with 1 business day.
 


When will my order ship and what are my shipping charges?

Most orders usually ship within 1 to 3 business days after payment and address verification are received; but, some products (like shower doors) have longer lead times of 2-3 weeks. In rare instances, there may be an extenuating or unforeseen circumstance that leads a fulfillment delay. In such instances, our customer service department will keep you updated on the order status.  The vast majority of our products include FREE SHIPPING to the continental United States, EXCEPT Puerto Rico, Quam, Ak, HI, AND other us territories.

All order are shipped the same business days, usually takes 3-5 working days to receive the product.

CANCELLATIONS

If an order is cancelled prior to shipment, delivery or pick-up, payment will be refunded in full, minus any and all costs already incurred by BIG DECORATOR at that time. Payment for cancellations will be made to the original purchaser and credit card purchases will be refunded to the original credit card used at the time of purchase. Cancellations received after shipping, delivery or pick-up are treated as a returns – see Returns section below for details.

RETURNS

All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) from our Customer Service Department. Please e-mail us at BIGDECORATOR@GMAIL.COM to obtain an RMA. The reason for the return must be clearly stated in the e-mail. Before taking any action you must have received a response from BIG DECORATOR, with an RMA number. All shipments sent to BIGDECORATOR without an RMA number will be refused and the associated charges will be the sole responsibility of the sender. No returns will be accepted or any credit granted without an RMA.

All claims for non-damaged BIGDECORATOR brand returns must be made within 30 calendar days of receipt of merchandise, and only apply to merchandise in perfect (as-shipped) condition and in the original, undamaged packaging. Non-damaged, non-BIG DECORATOR brand item returns must be made within 10 calendar days of receipt of merchandise.

All returned items must be returned in "new" or "like new" condition, in undamaged original manufacturer's packaging and crating materials when applicable and with all original product materials, manuals and instructions.


Return Policy

BIGDECORATOR has a deep commitment to the highest quality design, products and service. Customer Satisfaction is our #1 goal. But, we understand there may be rare instances where certain merchandise may not match your decor, taste or expectation. To that end, BIGDECORATOR is pleased to provide a flexible, hassle free and industry leading return and exchange policy:

BIGDECORATOR will be responsible for filing any type of shipping damage claim with the shipping company. Every package is fully insured by BIGDECORATOR and requires a signature upon delivery.

Returns have to be filed within 30 days after your purchase.

Product must be in its original condition and packaging. If item is opened & installed, it will be subject 10% restocking fee.

The following types of items may not be returned under any circumstance:

    • Items that have been partially or completely installed and/or assembled

  • Custom or special orders
  • Discontinued items, unless the product is faulty

  • Any products identified as “Floor Model” or “Off Price” or any other term indicating that the item is not first quality merchandise, whether the item(s) have been picked up or not

To provide any credit or replacement units we must first have a chance to receive and completely inspect your return. After the product is received, inspected and verified to be in "like new" condition, a full refund will be provided based on the product purchase price minus any original shipping charges and any return shipping charges and minus a 10% restocking/re-handling charge. Non-BIGDECORATOR brand items are subject to a 25% restocking fee, as per the manufacturers’ policies. For products sold with "Free Shipping" the actual freight cost to originally ship the product to and from your ship-to address will be deducted from your refund. Shipping charges on returns due to no fault of the customer shall be the responsibility of BIG DECORATOR

If you refuse an item delivered by a commercial freight company for any reason other than externally visible damaged merchandise or a shipping error by us, the item shall be treated as a customer return and charges described above shall be applied. Any additional freight carrier charges shall be billed to you. 

If your item delivered by a commercial freight company & damaged, you want to cancel the order after the shipping damages; you will be responsible for original shipping charges associate with the order.

Items being returned must ALWAYS be sent via ground transportation, insured by the sender. The sender is responsible for arranging the shipping carrier and pick-up for delivery back to BIG DECORATOR in MONTEBELLO, CA., unless the return is due to no fault of the sender (for example, damaged merchandise or wrong item received). Shipping charges for items that are sent back by any means other than ground transportation (cheapest available) will be the responsibility of the sender. This includes when the item is being returned at our expense – it must be sent cheapest method possible. BIGDECORATOR will arrange the pick up and pay the freight and insurance for items returned due to manufacturer error, damages or any other reason that is not caused by the purchaser.

Payment for returns and/or refunds will be made to the original purchaser and credit card purchases will be refunded to the original credit card used at the time of purchase. All other purchase types will be refunded by check. Purchases made by check will be refunded up to 14 days after inspection of returned items or after the cancellation date.

BIGDECORATOR will refund shipping costs only if the return has resulted from our error:
1) defective product
2) wrong order shipped
Products that have been installed are non-returnable.
shipping damages don't count as "defect" ; if item is damaged in transit, please email us photos of damages immediately, our customer service will help you to get parts or replacement. Shipping charge is not refundable unless product is defective.

How Do I determine if the product is defect?

License plumber or contractors can help write inspection report. 



Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery for most merchandise. Clearance items, special and custom orders, or international shipments may not be eligible for return. Please contact our sales department prior to purchase for questions regarding a specific item.

For returns and exchanges, the customer is responsible for the costs of shipping items back to www.bigdecorator.COM.

For freight (large item) orders, BIGDECORATOR will provide you the necessary paperwork, schedule a pickup through one of our freight carriers and place insurance on the shipment. Once the order has been returned to our warehouse and inspected for damage, we will deduct the return shipping costs and then issue you a refund.


PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSPECTION INSTRUCTIONS BELOW:

Inspect all shipments upon arrival for damage before signing the delivery receipt. Please refer to the "Guidelines for Inspection" provided in your shipment confirmation email.

If there is damage to any portion of the shipment, you must note such damage on the Bill of Lading. In instances of extreme damage, you should refuse the shipment and note "refused due to damage" on the Bill of Lading. If the truck driver is not giving you the time to inspect the shipment, make a note on the Bill of Lading: "driver did not allow for inspection."

BIG DECORATOR stands behind our customers. If you receive defective or damaged merchandise, bigdecorator will provide free replacements of standard/stock merchandise. But if the shipment was not inspected and the damage is not documented on the Bill of Lading, the customer will be responsible for the shipping costs of sending out the replacement merchandise.

In regards to 'special order' items (such as tubs, whirlpools/jacuzzis, steam showers and non-Fresca vanities), please be advised that many suppliers of these products have a strict, 24 hour window that you must report any damages within in order to receive accommodation.

If there are shipping damages, please email us photos of the damaging immediately.

Send all returns via FedEx, UPS or USPS and include the required insurance and signatures.
$15 re-boxing fee will be charged for products that are returned without the manufacturers original box or if the box is damaged. All products will be inspected prior to credit approval.


To return an item please request an RGA (return goods authorization) from us.

We will send you the address to where the products are to be shipped too.
Returns without an authorization number will not be accepted.

We are not responsible for items sent back to us without an authorization.

Once a RGA number is issued the returned product needs to be returned within 30 days.
